Global Drain Technologies (GDT), a North American leader in innovative drainage solutions and its divisional brands FoodSafe Drains and Landscape Drains, as well as product brand Slot Drain Systems is proud to announce the appointment of Scott Steindler, CPD, GPD, GGP, LEED-AP BD+C, FASPE, to its Business Development team.
Steindler joins GDT following a distinguished career, most recently serving as National Industrial Manager for Watts Water Technologies. His arrival comes on the heels of being named the 2024 Plumbing Engineer of the Year by PM Engineer, a testament to his three decades of technical excellence and advocacy in the field.

A Legacy of Technical Leadership
With over 31 years of experience spanning field plumbing, wholesale, and fire protection design, Steindler is a powerhouse in the industry. He has held numerous high-level positions within the American Society of Plumbing Engineers (ASPE), including serving on the Society Board of Directors as Vice President Technical, Vice President Membership, and Region IV Director. In 2020, he was inducted into the ASPE College of Fellows (FASPE), one of the highest honors in the profession.
Driving Innovation in Sanitary Drainage Solutions
At GDT, Steindler will leverage his specialized knowledge of stainless steel drainage systems to support the company’s mission of making the world safer one drain at a time serving as Senior Director of Drainage Solutions. His expertise aligns perfectly with GDT’s focus on high-performance solutions for food and beverage, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities where bacteria mitigation and durability are paramount.
Steindler, who is based in Phoenix, AZ, will play a key role in GDT’s continued growth across North America, bridging the gap between innovative manufacturing and the specific needs of design engineers.
