Aluminum and Stainless Steel Construction.

The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain is made from a combination of aluminum and stainless steel. Its stainless steel paver extension provides a sleek and linear aesthetic, while the aluminum body offers a lightweight and durable solution. The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain features bolt together stainless steel flanges riveted onto the aluminum body of the drain. When paired with our silicone the bolt together flanges create a permanent and water tight connection. The exposed slot drain section of the ½" Aluminum Slot Drain is stainless steel. Once installed it is indistinguishable from our Stainless Steel Slot Drain Kits. 

Neutral Slope

The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain features a neutral slope. Meaning that it is not presloped like our Stainless Steel Slot Drain Kits. This feature can allow for greater modularity as sections do not have to be connected in any specific order. However, this means that the drain needs to be sloped with the terrain to fully drain. Many off the shelf plastic landscaping drains feature a neutral slope. The ½" ALuminum Slot Drain was created to offer a durable luxury alternative for homeowners or landscapers who want to elevate their outdoor experience. Easy Cleaning and Maintenance

Unlike area drains and underground piping, which are difficult to access, Slot Drain Systems can be easily cleared due to their on-the-surface and open-top design. Using the cleaning paddle accessory, debris and lost items are guided to the included catch basin, where they can be easily removed using the integrated strainer basket.
