Aluminum and Stainless Steel Construction

The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain is made from a combination of aluminum and stainless steel. Its stainless steel paver extension provides a sleek and linear aesthetic, while the aluminum body offers a lightweight and durable solution. The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain features bolt together stainless steel flanges riveted onto the aluminum body of the drain. When paired with our silicone, the bolt together flanges create a permanent and water-tight connection. The exposed slot drain section of the ½" Aluminum Slot Drain is stainless steel. Once installed it is indistinguishable from our Stainless Steel Slot Drain Kits. 

Neutral Slope

The ½" Aluminum Slot Drain features a neutral slope. Meaning that it is not presloped like our Stainless Steel Slot Drain Kits. This feature can allow for greater modularity as sections do not have to be connected in any specific order. However, it means that the drain needs to be sloped with the terrain to fully drain. Many off the shelf plastic landscaping drains feature a neutral slope.
